We Know How to Have Fun!

Summer Camps at AllTogetherNow!

For over 25 years we have been offering summer camps to the children of Central Vermont. At AllTogetherNow! Summer Camps we know how to have fun! Days are spent outside, telling stories, swimming in the pool, making art, stilt walking, singing, playing cooperative games, and making new friends. Lead teachers are joined by teen councilors.

Summer camps are held Monday through Friday, 9am - 3pm. Before and aftercare is available starting at 8am and ending at 4:30pm. We spend our days outside, engaged in games, projects, and fun. We have several indoor spaces for rainy days. We have a saltwater in-ground swimming pool with both a shallow and deep end. A licensed lifeguard is on-duty during swim time.

Full and partial scholarships are available to families who otherwise could not afford to pay for summer camp. Scroll down for more info.

Our teachers are a part of the fabric of our community. They are educators, herbalists, artists, and activists. All are part of our rich lineage of passionate educators dedicated to creating a peaceful, sustainable world and living in harmony with the earth. Many of the youth began here as preschoolers and families participating in our seasonal celebrations. They graduate into our summer camp program first as campers and then as teen counselors. Some return as teachers and parents.

Summer Camp 2026 Registration Opens Sat. February 14th!

Summer Camp 2026 Details & Descriptions:

Play, Play, Play All Day & Go to the Parades I June 29-July 3 I Facilitators: Janice Walrafen & Damarah Barr-Smith
  • We have fun all day. We play games, make art, swim, fly kites, walk in the woods, learn to stilt walk, and organize ourselves to participate in Montpelier’s Independence Day Parade on July 3rd. The parade is at 6pm with a 5:30pm lineup. Parade participation is optional.

Mandala of Herbs I July 6-10 I Facilitators: Adrienne Allison & Joanne Darling
  • Experience the magic and wisdom of the local flora and forest. We will sharpen our observation skills, and build connections to the plant kingdom. Our learning focuses on the qualities and unique gifts of roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits and seeds. Campers will honor, harvest and process abundant herbs from the mandala garden and wild weeds near by. Our daily rhythm will include cooperative games, swimming, herbal crafts, meditative movement, discussions of plant families, life cycles and the areas ecosystems, hiking, tea time, botanical fiber art, and making herbal medicines to bring home! Teachings are grounded in safety, respect, and ecological awareness.

Rock 'n Roll I July 13-17 I Facilitators: Janice Walrafen, Jason Mallery & Elliott Lester
  • Explore the rich cultural heritage and rockin’ tunes from this exciting era, from the earliest African roots through the psychedelic 60's, to the latest contemporary sounds, fusing influences of country, folk, jazz, rhythm and blues. Youth have an opportunity to try out the different band instruments and are welcome to bring their own, to create music with us. Camp includes art projects too! We will have a live Rock ‘n Roll show on Friday afternoon.

Tinker Tales I July 20-24 I 3-6yo I Facilitators: Damarah Barr-Smith & Kelesy Laperle
  • A joyful little camp designed for big imaginations! Each day is filled with stories, make-believe adventures, hands-on crafts, and plenty of room to play. We’ll read together, act out characters, build tiny worlds, and turn simple materials into magical creations. This camp blends guided storytelling with open play, games, movement, and creative projects so children can explore, express themselves, and have fun in ways that feel natural to them. It’s a warm, welcoming space where kids can be silly, curious, and wonderfully imaginative — all while making new friends and discovering the excitement of stories coming to life. Perfect for little ones who love to pretend, create, and dive into a world of fun each day.

Steeped in Nature
I July 27-31 I 3-6yo I Facilitators: Adrienne Allison & Hannah Wirth
  • Steeped in Nature, and engaging all the senses, we will explore the farm, fields and forests nearby. During plant ID walks, we may forage abundant wild edibles, or gather natural materials for crafting. Campers honor, harvest, prepare, cook, create and sample the nourishing foods they make. Our daily rhythm will include cooperative games, swimming, crafts, life cycles, hiking, tea time, and botanical art. Campers will spend all day outdoors exploring local lands, learning about the areas ecosystems, practicing new skills, and learning from each other. Teachings will be guided in safety and respect.

Folkcraft Kids I August 3-7 I Facilitators: Damarah Barr-Smith & Shannon Kelly
  • Folkcraft Kids is a vibrant, hands-on creative camp where imagination, color, and texture come to life. Campers dive into fiber arts through fun, skill-building projects like felting, beading, weaving, garland making, collage, and mixed-media crafts. Every day is filled with opportunities to experiment, design, and create something uniquely their own. This camp is all about confidence, creativity, and joyful self-expression. Children build fine motor skills, patience, and problem-solving abilities while exploring exciting materials and techniques in a supportive, upbeat environment. There’s plenty of room for movement, collaboration, and independent inspiration — so each child can shine at their own pace. By the end of camp, kids leave with handmade treasures, new friendships, and a sense of pride in what they’ve created. It’s a colorful, welcoming space where curiosity is celebrated, creativity is encouraged, and every camper gets to feel like an artist.

Magic Makers I August 10-14 I Facilitators: Adrienne Allison & Joann Darling
  • This hands-on camp will foster joy infused innovation, problem solving and collaboration in a creative community setting. Join the exciting exploration of building, and sharing our work. We’ll get into cardboard creations, natural materials, fiber and fabric crafts, green energy use and awareness, Lego Lands, and don’t forget the fantastic snack making for a full STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) ahead experience.
