Summer Solstice 2025
You're invited to our annual Summer Solstice event on Saturday, June 21, 2025 where we will celebrate the longest day of the year! This year we are celebrating with a community skill share, and later potluck, skits, fun and bonfire.

What to Bring:
This event is held outside and under tents - Dress for the weather. Please leave your pets at home. The pool will be open-bring your swim gear. Parking is limited, please carpool - park on one side of the road only. Parking on site is reserved for accessibility parking and presenters.
Schedule:
- 10am-5pm - Community Skillshare and Workshops
- 5-6pm - Vision Circle - Listening and speaking from our hearts - "What is your vision of a livable & lovable future?"
- 6:30pm - Potluck - Bring a food or drink to share as well as your own plates, bowls, cups, and utensils.
- 7:30pm - Skits, Storytelling, songs, Morris dancing, and fun!
- 9pm - Bonfire
Workshop topics will include:
- Food preservation; canning, drying, lacto-fermentation - with Gail England
- Wild edible plant walk - with Adrienne Allison
- Scything - how to tend the land with a sharp blade and where to purchase them. - with Janice Walrafen
- Open fire spit roasting - with Jason Mallery and friends
- Data privacy & digital hygiene (surviving surveillance capitalism) - with Mica M and Barry W.
- Moving and setting the North stone in ATN's stone circle (LionHeart memorial stone on display) -With Ben Graham
- The role of art is social movements - with Uncle Erok
- Garden tour - With Janice Walrafen and Jay Hebert - Enlivening the soil using cover crops, BD preps, and more. What about those snake worms.
- TO COPE AND TO HOPE - with Aro Veno - a skill that could help in times of trouble. We can sing together . . songs that identify the problems, offer some solutions, imagine and invoke positive change, help us feel connected and empowered and possibly even make us laugh or cry. Bring your guitars and ukuleles.
