Join Us for Ice on Fire, Central Vermont's Winter Festival!
Come one, come all to this wonderful festival, celebrating the warmth of community in the depths of winter!
Dance, theater, music, storytelling, and poetry performed by local artists and community members, winter games, kids activities and hot food and drink to warm the soul. All activities are outdoors.

Ice on Fire is happening on Sunday February 2, 2025, 2 - 5pm at Montpelier Country Club, 203 Country Club Road. There is parking onsite but we ask you to carpool if you can.
You can drop-off your Christmas trees now until 2/2 at the Country Club at the far end of the parking lot. There will be a sign and instructions.
Hot drinks and snacks, Storytelling, games, performances, and activities for all! Please bring mugs for hot drinks. Admission/suggested donation: $10/person, no one turned away for lack of funds. Donate here.
Please bring your friends and family, but kindly leave your dogs at home.
We are looking for puppeteers, and volunteers.

- Friday, January 31, 2025, 9am-12pm or 1pm-3pm.
- Sunday, February 2. Volunteer slots run in 1.5 hour shifts from 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm.

- 2pm ~ Procession and Opening Ceremony
- 4:30pm - Closing Ceremony and Bonfire
